Hi FIT Radio fans! Our content is growing faster than ever and that means one thing for you: more great music to help you meet your fitness goals!
For our Hip Hop fans, we have great new selections from two of our newest DJs. “How You Love That” by DJ Spinatik and “Finals” by Nacho Vega. Both mixes work great in the weight room!
In our Electronic Dance Music genre, we have another new addition: DJ Beatbreaker.
His mix “Take Care” has motivation in spades.
The Lounge genre debuts DJ Pony and his mix “Two Years Later”. This is perfect for your warm-up or cool-down!
In Indie Rock, DJ Bynar offers his mix “Fireworks” for the underground and independent rock fans out there.
Also, be sure to check out our NEW Rock and Indie Rock Stations. We’ve been working very hard to add content to these genres (and will continue to do so over the next few weeks). It has not been an easy task, to say the least!

That’s right. We have just added Justin Bieber’s DJ to FIT Radio! We know him as Tay James, but you may also refer to him as #WeKnowTheDJ. We met with Tay last week in the FIT Radio office, and we were all very surprised at what a relaxed, down to earth guy he turned out to be! It is always exciting to discover “The Big Man on Campus” is actually a really cool dude too.
DJ Tay James is one of the hottest DJs in the game right now. His content and marketing on the Internet is second to none. Covering a wide range of music, he has proven time and time again that he can provide any audience with great music to keep the people moving. In recent years he linked up with pop sensation Justin Bieber and hasn’t turned back since. James has been Bieber’s DJ and hype man on Bieber’s major world tours keeping the Bieber Fever hot for sold out stadiums. Last year, DJ Tay James hit the world of mixtapes hard with his tribute to one of rap’s greatest, Bun B, of the group UGK. The mixtape, titled We Know Bun B The Original OG, was presented by Jimmy Jazz and Diamond Supply Co. Whether he’s hyping a crowd in the big arenas or dropping mixtapes, he always brings the energy and a true passion for music. James has shown the world he can run the mainstream with Bieber or walk with Under Ground King’s Bun B. If you did not know the DJ before, you do now. A quick lesson about Wifi Vs. 3G/4G
Since more and more providers are switching to smaller data plans, I would suggest using wifi whenever possible (even when checking your email). Wifi will keep your battery from draining as well. The only time you should turn off your wifi signal is when you are on the move (ie running through the park, driving in your car, etc.). This will keep your phone from trying to pick up every signal you pass.
Today I thought I would share how we troubleshoot. A helpful and responsive user contacted me today because their FIT Radio App kept freezing. The reason: Out of Data. Here’s the conversation:

FIT Radio flew DJ Ri (pronounced rye) and Craig Smoove to Atlanta back in December to spin at one of the Top 3 Nightclubs in the country, Opera Nightclub. A little bit during and after their set, FIT Radio’s Music Director, Chris Rimby, had a chance to hang out with them and said they were pretty cool dudes… we couldn’t agree more! With so much going on like iClub blowing up and a never ending schedule of events to spin, DJ Ri doesn’t let it all get to his head. Hey gang, not sure if you know what some of my responsibilities entail at the FIT Radio office but a lot of it deals with tweeting about interesting fitness, music, and technology related articles. Since I have worked with FIT, you can imagine the amount of articles I read daily. This week I am reading up on, you guessed it, New Years Resolution articles! I found that there are so many out there that talk about weight-loss, or health, or even just self improvement. I picked my top three that touch on all of these topics:
