I started using Fit Radio because I was tired of struggling to build the perfect workout mix on my own week in and week out.

Fit Radio is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. I love that I have the ability to let the app detect my pace for my “jogging” days and generate my BPM target rate to help me maintain my pace on “running” days. The controls are really intuitive and easy to set up by target pace and genre.
I saw a Facebook Ad for Fit Radio. I just completed a great 10K race, but I was frustrated with the playlists I had cobbled together on Apple Music. Not being a big Trance or EDM music fan, I wasn’t crazy about the few 170 BPM running albums I found in my search either. In the past, I tried a couple different music apps that claimed to work with my playlists and music library, but they didn’t sync correctly with my Apple Music subscription and they didn’t offer their own mixes.
The ad for Fit Radio popped up in my feed and I figured, “It’s worth a shot,” but I never expected to be “wowed” by it. I’m so glad I clicked! The different genres make it so easy to quickly choose music that fits my mood. Being able to choose mixes based on my BPM helps me keep a steady running pace. I love the integrated timing, distance, and cadence features too. (Which also save me from draining battery life by opening other fitness apps.) I have a feeling my next races will have much better soundtracks!
We had a chance to catch up with DJ Scuffs after the event and here is what he had to say:
Q: What was the Night Nation Run event like?
A: It was a super dope event. So much energy from start to finish. Essentially, it’s a big music festival with a 5K race course going through it. There are multiple sounds and DJs playing all day and through the night with some DJs actually positioned on the course to help keep you pumped and moving all the way to the main stage.

A: An amazing experience, a cool concept, and one of the best events I’ve ever played at and been a part of.

Meet Brandy M. Brandy just ran the longest distance of her life (without stopping) all thanks to Fit Radio. Here is her story:
“I did it! I officially ran the longest distance I ever have before (without) stopping! Just did a 10k (6.2 miles) and finished in about an hour at a 10.5 minute mile, which I am extremely happy with! My “personal record” had nothing to do with time, it was simply to FINISH, ideally without stopping, which I DID!!! The Texas heat is no joke in the middle of the afternoon. It was HOT, I was tired and I already worked out at did weights at the gym this morning.
BUT I bought this beautiful diamond finishers medal to do a “virtual run” with some of my ADPi sisters who live in different places. I told myself I would run a 10k for the medal before my 15k next weekend, so today was the day that it was NOW OR NEVER! (I even had the willpower to not open the medal package until I finished my run!)
The trail was really empty today so it made it MUCH HARDER to run and at the halfway point I was TIRED! I knew that I could stop and walk because no one would know but me… But I wanted to prove to myself that I could do this run, alone, without stopping. Talk about SELF MOTIVATION & DISCIPLINE!
Although my body was tired I knew it was MIND that I had to convince to keep going so I kept telling myself “This is so easy”, “You’ve got this girl”, “Be proud of yourself”, “Keep going”, “You’re almost there”… Positive self talk really helped and I have my yoga practice to thank for that.
Just know that if you want to do something, YOU CAN DO IT. I was not a runner before I took on this challenge, but I was determined & motivated… That’s what it takes. Set new goals, determine how to achieve them & then take action to make your goals turn into accomplishments! I couldn’t have done it without Fit Radio!”

So this past weekend we experienced the latest 5k trend, The Electric Run! The night race started at 8:50 pm at Atlanta Motor Speedway and we were dressed in our FIT Radio gear and glow painted up so we made a quick pit stop at the Step and Repeat before heading to the starting line
With the new year comes more exciting races to get everyone active. This year is definitely the year of night races, more specifically The Electric Run. Do you see this picture, how could it not be?! Reasons why: It takes place at night (party hours), you get crazy fun glow swag like sunglasses, bangles and necklaces, there is music playing the whole time so no worries about plugging your ear buds in, and (drum roll) as if it couldn’t get any more fun, there’s an after party. Yup. Does this sound like the most fun 5k ever or what?
Each event is unique. Depending on the event you participate in you may experience many of the following:

- Tunnels with dancing patterns and figures on the walls, ceilings, and floors
