We had a chance to catch up with Fit Radio DJ, R Harvz to ask him a few questions about his all-time favorite DJ moments, where he draws inspiration, and his process for creating the perfect Fit Radio mix. (We also learned some interesting things about him along the way…) Here’s what he had to say.
So last Wednesday we had an idea come to life. We wanted to find a way to get a few of the FIT Radio DJs together in our office to hang out, play music, and work together to create awesome mixes for our users. It’s a little something we’re calling FIT Radio MixLab. We had some turn tables set up
so the DJs could switch off and do a live collaboration mix which was awesome because it’s definitely interesting to see what they come up with on the spot and watch the genres blend together. While all of this is going on, they were recording a separate mix on their own! Talk about killing two birds with one stone. Mami Chula was at the helm of the get together making sure everyone was having a great time yet staying on track (apparently, DJs tend to have short attention spans.) There may or may not have been a little liquid courage to get the gears moving (I’ll never tell!)
oops, or maybe I will…
Well that’s it for now! Check back next week for a new batch of DJs and a new batch of mixes! Until then, here are the mixes from the first ever FIT Radio MixLab! Enjoy!
DJ Danny M’s Mix – Move Your Feet
DJ Spy’s Mix – Bass Cannon
DJ Rapko’s Mix – Strangers
DJ Johnny D’s Mix – I Can’t Wait
We are fixing bugs as soon as they come up, but if for some reason you come across something, please let us know. Just follow the SIMPLE steps below.
My name is Dirk and I’m going to help you help us make FIT Radio as close to bug free as possible. With any new app, there are going to be bugs. Last I checked, FIT Radio is available to over 746 Android devices. Wow, that’s a lot. Now, we test on a lot of devices, but it’s impossible to test on every single one. The first step you should take is to make sure you have the latest version of FIT Radio. We put out updates every few weeks.
If you’re having trouble while the app is running, there’s a very quick and easy way to submit a bug. Recreate the problem, Hit Menu, then Submit Bug. Simple as that. The app does all the work of collecting the log, phone model and setting up the email. All you have to do is describe the problem… in detail. 🙂
If the bug occurs during loading time or you cannot access this for any reason you can pull your own log… More
